The road to making my first movie feels like it has gone on forever. I wrote the movie, did a lot of the production work to set up filming, gathered the team, worked long days on set, and now have helped guide post production. It's taken a lot of effort.

But really, it hasn't taken that much time.

On September 1st, 2013; I wrote the first page of Fixer. We moved into production in March, a little over six months later. Now, just two months after that, we have taken another step. I have heard from the editor.

We now have a rough cut of the movie!

The work is not done, not by a long shot. But, I have set a goal of having a finished movie on September 1st.

I think there is a wonderful synchronicity to it. One year from first words on the page to a finished film.

I can't wait to share the next step.

Now that we have a cut of the movie – I am setting a meeting with the editor to cut a trailer.

Thank you for your patience and being with us this long. Finally, it is getting close!
